Team Leading Apprenticeship
This qualification is designed for new and aspiring team leaders to gain an in-depth introduction to the role and its responsibilities or team leaders with a degree of authority. This is a nationally recognised qualification and is the ideal launch pad for your management career.
There is a broad range of unit’s available allowing employers and individuals to tailor the size and elements of the qualifications to suit their specific needs.
Using the course outline, you will learn how build and support your team to collectively achieve your goals. This would give you, and your employer, proven skills to manage people and relationships and the ability to self-manage and mange a team.
This apprenticeship offers the chance to develop your understanding of leading a team, building your knowledge and developing your skills and expertise. This qualification is ideal for those that have just taken on Team Leading responsibilities or those that have been in the role for a while and wish to gain more of skills or formal qualifications.
Apprenticeship Level 2:
- Institute of Leadership and Management Level 2 in Team Leading
- Functional Skills English level 1 (equivalent to GCSE D-G)
- Functional Skills Math Level 1 (equivalent to GCSE D-G)
- Functional Skills ICT Level 1
Apprentices with a GCSE ‘D’ or ‘E’ will be given the opportunity to work towards a Functional Skills level 2 qualification (equivalent to GCSE A-C)

- Employment Rights and Responsibilities
The Framework consists of Mandatory units which you must do and Optional units which you can choose depending on your job role and aspirations.
There are no entry requirements to this course, however, basic Math and Communication Skills (a GCSE A-C in Math and English is an advantage, but not a requirement, as we have specialist tutors available).
This course can be started at any time and will typically take 12-18 months to complete.
