This qualification is ideal if you are have management responsibilities but no formal training, and are serious about developing your abilities. It’s particularly suited to practising managers seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people through organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures.
This qualification aims to give learners an opportunity to develop their management performance, become more effective and to progress in their career; from managing budgets, allocating work to team members and/or colleagues, achieving specific results and some degree of decision making.
The qualification requires the learner to step back and reflect on their performance at work, review their working practices and identify any improvements they can make. It provides a personal development opportunity and enhances efficiency within organisations.
This advanced apprenticeship offers the chance to develop your understanding of Managing a team, system or process and building your knowledge and developing your skills and expertise. This qualification is ideal for those that have just taken on Management responsibilities or those that have been in the role for a while and wish to gain more of skills or formal qualifications.
Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3:
- Institute of Leadership and Management Level 3 in Management
- Functional Skills English level 2 (equivalent to GCSE A-C)
- Functional Skills Math Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE A-C)
- Functional Skills ICT Level 2
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities
The Framework consists of Mandatory units which you must do and Optional units which you can choose depending on your job role and aspirations.
There are no entry requirements to this course, however, basic Math and Communication Skills (a GCSE A-C in Math and English is an advantage, but not a requirement, as we have specialist tutors available).
This course can be started at any time and will typically take 18-24 months to complete.
