Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Care (RQF)
This qualification is supported by Skills for Care, the sector skills council for the adult care sector in England. It is designed for those learners who manage care and support services in adult care settings (England). The qualification aims to develop learners’ skills and knowledge in leadership and management to ensure that services can respond fully to the needs and aspirations of those that use their provision.
Program of Learning and Development:
During this program, learners will develop knowledge, understand and demonstrate how they use this in practice in the following areas; principles of leadership and management, team leadership, principles governance, regulatory processes, communication and information management, partnership working, outcomes based person-centred practice, equality, diversity and inclusion, continuous improvement, principles of professional development, supervision and performance management, resource management, safeguarding and protection, health and safety, risk taking and risk management, managing concerns and complaints, self-management for leadership, decision making, entrepreneurial skills, principles of innovation and change
Learners will in addition to this develop knowledge and skills in a variety of areas to be an effective practitioner within their roles and responsibilities.
You will be allocated an Assessor who will plan with you how best to research and generate evidence against Unit outcomes which will then be Internal Quality Assured.
Program Duration and Cost:
Duration: Learners will be required to participate in an 18 to 24-month program, with a recommended 582 guided learning hours.
Cost: £3000 per learner
