Level 2 – Certificate in Principles of Equality, Diversity and Rights in Care (RQF)
The objective of this qualification is to support a role in the workplace, specifically in relation to understanding the principles of equality, diversity and rights in relation to care roles in a variety of settings.
This qualification can be taken by learners preparing to enter employment or by those who are already in employment in a care role and wish to develop their knowledge
Program of Learning and Development:
This is a knowledge only qualification, that provides underpinning knowledge and understanding, which covers the following areas:
- relation to equality, diversity, inclusion and human rights
- the principles of equality, diversity, rights and inclusion in relation to care and more specifically in relation to dementia, learning disability and mental health care.
You will be allocated an Assessor who will plan with you how best to research and generate evidence against the Unit outcomes which will then be Internal Quality Assured.
Program Duration and Cost:
Duration: Learners will be required to participate in a 24-week program, with a recommended 130 guided learning hours.
