About the yard:
Grafton Farm is a family run business. Situated on a 300 acre working farm and B.H.S approved riding centre, livery and competition yard. Riding lessons are available for the beginner to the more experienced riders. Excellent hacking / trekking through stunning countryside. Full size outdoor and indoor riding arenas to suit all weathers.
Rosie Thomas competes in eventing , show jumping and dressage.
Grafton farm are looking for someone to help them look after their riding school, livery and competition horses.
Daily tasks include:
- Getting horses ready for lessons or for competition rider,
- Assisting with lessons,
- Tack cleaning,
- Keeping the yard tidy,
- Turnout and catching in horses,
- Getting horses ready for competition,
- Occasionally help with mucking out.
- There may be opportunity to ride for the right candidate
Future Prospects: Opportunity for a full time position for the right candidate
Basic horse handling experience. Riding skills optional
You must be fit as there is a lot of walking during turnout and bringing horses from the fields! Reliable, hardworking
